Error message "Failed to open a session with the device 'Broken pipe'" is logged when adding QoreStor to the NetVault
Description

When adding QoreStor to the NetVault Server, error message Failed to open a session with the device 'Broken pipe' is logged. Additional information indicates RDA Library error code: 26. Error message could also be displayed when running a backup job.
Cause

Secure Connect is enable by default in NetVault. Secure Connect encompasses a set of client and server components that creates a secure channel for QoreStor communication with WAN-connected clients that is also resilient to WAN outages.

If there is a problem with the Secure Connect configuration, communication fails.
Resolution
In the NetVault installation directory, there is a folder named dynlib. This folder contains the Secure Connect manager executable. The configuration is stored in the sc_client.properties file. This should not be edited manually.

To check status of Secure connect, use this command:
```
sc_manager status
```
To enable or disable Secure Connect, use either:
```
sc_manager enable
```
```
sc_manager disable
```
