Replication protocol version mismatch detected -
Description
Setting up a repository replication in vRanger or configuring RDS replication directly in QoreStor, fails with "Version Mismatch" messages. -
Cause
Both Qorestor instances involved in the replication have different build versions. -
Resolution
Upgrade the Qorestor instance that has the lowest build version number in order to match the build versions.
NOTE: QoreStor Version 7.2.1 or later is not compatible with any in-place converted DR Series appliances. The last compatible version for DR Series Appliances with in-place conversions is 7.2.0. Please contact support if you want to do a DR Appliance in-place upgrade to QoreStor. QoreStor capacity license(s) will be needed post-upgrade.
