There is a specific key and you cannot use all attributes for all objects.

Ensure that you are using the following key and have selected an attribute that can be used for the object you are trying to read in.
The key is
Attributes may be specific to one or more object types. Users (U), Contacts (C), Devices (D), Distribution Group (DG), Unified Group (UG), and/or Security Group (SG).
