Dirsync: Can you explain the Reconcile option in the AD directory synchronization Environments settings? (4350584)

• Reconcile forces re-evaluation of all objects and removes objects that are not found.
• Reconcile detects that objects were moved outside of the OU selected in Environments (now out of scope).
• Reconcile also picks up configuration changes made to the workflow, including new mappings.

It is best to turn on the "Reconcile on Next Read" option in both the source and target Environment settings.

Then run the Workflow sync job before considering a workflow configuration complete and ready for scheduling.

Note: Reconcile option is a flag. So when reconcile is configured to run on schedule, the only thing that will happen is that flag will be enabled. There will be no process, that is triggered by the scheduled Reconcile. However, this flag will make sure that as soon as the next Read will be performed against the environment, then reconciliation will be performed as a part of that workflow.
