Description: New install of Netvault and Quantum Superloader Library with SDLT 600 tape drive(s). Customer put all new tapes in and started a backup job.
After a few minutes noticed that all tapes were labeled and the job was stuck saying waiting for Media. Doing a Diagnose of the job showed that there was not enough space on any of the available tapes. Media Manager showed space available on all the tapes as "unknown"
Wanting to eliminate a possible hardware error, told customer to open case with Quantum. Customer got back to me saying that the brand of tapes he was using, Imation and TDK, were incompatible with the Quantum Superloader.
