'Path x_x_x no longer available' and 'Failed to find anything to backup' error messages when back -
Description
The backup was using the NDMP Plugin “Snapshot” section and not the “Volumes” section.
Confirmed the following error messages within the Binary log:1] Warning 2012/09/04 11:07:31 59 Data Plugin BACKUPSRV Path /vol/DivServer/.snapshot/smvi__VMWare_alle_recent no longer available
2] Error 2012/09/04 11:07:31 59 Data Plugin BACKUPSRV Failed to find anything to backup
3] Error 2012/09/04 11:07:31 59 Jobs BACKUPSRV Job Status: Backup FailedWe could see that the above path shows a “.snapshot” name within it and confirms that this is a snapshot that the job is looking for, not a volume.

Resolution
The issue was that "SnapManager for Virtual Infrastructure" (SMVI) had a problem with its stored credentials for the filer.
Couldn't understand why (maybe corrupted), but after changing/updating these passwords, SMVI was again able to create Snapshots and a restart of one of the failed backup jobs ran again.
