How to prevent MySQL jobs finishing with "Backup Completed with warnings" due to unsupported tabl (4046091)

A MySQL backup job will "Completed with warnings" when an unsupported table type is encountered and when the Plug-in is unable to lock a table during backup.

The Quest NetVault Backup (NVBU) Plug-in for MySQL supports only certain table types (refer to the Plug-in Release Notes and User's Guide), and when a table selected for inclusion in the backup is locked by a client session other than the Plug-in warnings will be generated.

This solution shows how to configure the Plug-in to generate a status of "Backup Completed" when these warnings occur while the backup is running.

1. From the NVBU Console, access the NVBU Client Management window.
2. On the Clients tab, locate the machine configured as the MySQL Server, right-click it, and select Configure from the pop-up menu.
3. In the Remote Configurator window, select the Plugin Options tab, and then select the MySQL APM subtab.
4. Set the "Locked Table" condition to "Complete without Warnings - Saveset Retained".
5. Set the "Unsupported Storage Engine" condition to "Complete without Warnings - Saveset Retained".
6. Press OK to save the configuration.

With the above configuration MySQL jobs complete and return a status of "Backup Completed."While errors are logged in the NVBU binary logs, the errors are essentially ignored in the NVBU Jobs window and a backup saveset is created that includes the items that were successfully backed up.
