Description:
DB2 rollforward fails with the following error, "Failed to rollforward database XXX. SQL2162N Rollforward operation failed because DB2 does not have permission to access log file log-file-number for database database-name on node node-number."
Symptoms:
When restore DB2 Database with rollforward option enable, the restore operation completes but fails during the rollforward process.
Check the file system where the log files are stored. Make sure sufficient permission is given to the instance owner to access these log files.
