ODS plugin product status (4045190)

Internal FAQ that covers the status of the ODS plugin and Pm plans for the future -

ODS Plugin was moved to MA status earlier this year.
This means that the plugin is no longer freely available as a download or as a mainstream product/solution
The only time the plugin is to be supplied is when the sales team can provide a business case for this requirement
e.g. it's the only way of performing the desired function
The plugin is then supplied as is.
Further maintenance on this old plugin is very costly so it was decided to freeze the plugin and produce a new plugin with similar capabilities starting from scratch.

R&D is currently investigating the effort for this work and I would expect to have a target delivery date for the new plugin in the coming weeks. We can advise the

existing ODS customers that BKB will provide this new plugin as a free upgrade (providing a valid maintenance contract in is effect) after it is released.
