NetVault PostgreSQL service will not start suddenly (4042916)

The NetVault PostgreSQL database server service failed to start due to one of the following errors:

• "The program can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
• The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

In Program and Features, Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64) is missing.

It is also possible to see all Microsoft Visual C++ packages to appear with a recent installation date.

Manually downloaded and installed Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 64 bits.

After the installation, the NetVault PostreSQL and Process Manager services should start successfully.

In Event Viewer, it is possible to see an application error with a similar log entry:
