ndmp restore job fails with the following errors:

In the event log the following message may also be seen:
"faulting application nvndmp.exe"

Cause
Halt reason 5 is caused by the plugin not being able to read from the media.

Resolution
This may be due to an issue with the media itself (or potentially the drive though if this were the case we would expect to see other errors as well).
A common cause of this however is that the Block size set on the drive when the backup was taken has now been changed by the time the restore is being attempted.
This would need to be changed back to the original value in NV device management (right click on the drive->go to configure->configuration).
