This article shows how to set exceptions in the windows firewall necessary for NetVault to operate.
If the firewall is enabled and you do not set the necessary exceptions for NetVault, you may see the following problems.
-Impossible to see or add a client.-Not able to backup a client.-Firewall test fail when adding a new client in the Netvault server.This applies to:Windows 7 all versions.Windows 8 all versions.WIndows server 2008\2008R2Windows server 2012\2012R2This script has been upgraded to have all the new version 10 processes with a specific inbound and outbound rule.
