Linux …/vmware-root directory or windows …\vmware-SYSTEM directory filling up with large vmware-xxxxx.log files
Verbose diagnostics have been turned on as in KB below and left enabled
In KB https://support.quest.com/netvault-backup/kb/81509
verbose diagnostics are set if files .../netvault/config/vmware.cfg and .../netvault/config/config.vddk that is created.
1/ Edit .../netvault/config/vmware.cfg as follows:
[Custom:GenerateVddkLogsOnDisk]
Value=False
2/ Delete file config.vddk in .../netvault/config/ folder
