NetVault WebUI error: Issuer certificate is invalid. (Error code: sec_error_ca_cert_invalid)
Description
After upgrading to Firefox 31, if you try to log on to the NetVault WebUI, the following error message is displayed: Issuer certificate is invalid. (Error code: sec_error_ca_cert_invalid)
Cause
The new security library security.use_mozillapkix_verification raises this certification error when you try to access a self-signed certificate.
Resolution
Workaround: To resolve this issue, do the following:
1. Type about:config in the Firefox address bar.
2. Locate the preference security.use_mozillapkix_verification, and set it to false.
