How to run a report showing reusable media from the CLI -
Description
If jobs are waiting for media, it is useful to run a report and see if there is reusable media. -
Resolution
You can go to the util folder where NetVault Backup is installed and there will be a nvreport command. In Windows you may need to open the command window as administrator and for Linux/Unix you will need to be root.
Example:
nvreport -class Media -format "%Barcode::12 %label::30 %mediagroup::20 %reuse" -sort "%mediagroup- %reuse-"
