Adding Data Domain device to NetVault 10.0.5 fails -
Description
Is is observed that when adding a DD device to NetVault 10.0.5 it fails with:
"Failed to add DDboost Please examine device logs"
What can be seen in device logs:

Cause
This is an incompatibility between the DD device OS version and the DD Boost library used by NetVault 10.0.5 -
Resolution
Before following the procedure documented below, configure the DDboost device to use FQDN when communicating with NetVault server and clients.
1. Upgrade DDOS on the problematic device
2. Use an older version of the DDBoost library under NVBU 10.0.5.27 - the DDBoost library is located in <NVBU_install_dir>/dynlib/libDDBoost.dll and <NVBU_install_dir>/dynlib/bit64/libDDBoost.dll.
Copy both these files from install dir of NVBU 10.0.1.24 to install dir of NVBU 10.0.5.27 - before that please do a backup of DDBoost files.
Stop netvault service before copying the files and start again after copying. There is also a need to re-add the device after replacing DDBoost library files.
