RMAN duplicate DB restore fails with invalid user/password

ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

Plugin for Oracle version 7.1, the password is not correctly sent when doing a duplicate database restore. 

You can configure the plugin options to create RMAN script and you can see that the password is not correct. 

STATUS:

Waiting for fix in a future release of NetVault Backup Plugin for Oracle.

WORKAROUND:

You can configure the plugin options for the restore to only create a script. You can modify the password in this script and run it from RMAN or manually run the commands from the script in RMAN.
