Incremental backup of share exported by EMC Celera (NS120) using files system backup, network share option does not backup changes on the share. A full backup was run and some of the files were copied into one of the directories, then an incremental backup was run . On job completion Job log says that x directories and 0 files were backed up.
Found that the shares were accessed using DFS Namespace. DFS Namespace shares folders from a remote server and not via a direct connection to the share see URL below for info on using DFS Namespace

Configure backup up to backup directly from the node exporting the share.
