Filesystem restore hangs from SmartDisk and hasn't anymore relevant information after the following Binary Log entries:
Job Message 2011/12/05 10:04:08 1435 Media BACKUP_SERVER Job has been assigned device 'SmartDisk - 10.128.81.11'
Information 2011/12/05 10:04:09 1435 Data Plugin NLMSWF5 Connected to DAV server 'localhost.localdomain' at address '10.128.81.11', port '37453'
SmartDisk 1.5.1 is only supported to work with NetVault Backup 8.6.1 as per our Compatibility Guide on our website:

Performed the following steps to resolve the issue:
1] Perform a NVDB backup - which should be done on a daily basis and not when other backups and restores are running.
2] Upgrade the NetVault Server to 8.6.1 (or above).
3] Upgrade the NetVault Clients as well.
Note: Please reboot the machines if installed on Windows.
