Notes on adding SmartDisk volume -
Description
When adding a volume using the command ".../foundation/bin/smartdisk config --add -volume <newNetVaultSmartDiskVolume>", SmartDisk returns the message:
"Failed to apply configuration"
Additionally, the OS log includes the following entries:
INDEXER Invalid Volume location <newNetVaultSmartDiskVolume>''INDEXER Invalid storage configuration stanza in DISK_CONFIG_REQ_MSG Failed to apply configuration
