One of 2 issues which may case this:
1. The IsExcludedfromProvision flag may be set to 'True'
2. The local source Forest need to be set as "Home Forest" within back-end SQL Exchange Pro Databases
Run the following:
get-mailboxdatabase | FL
And check the IsExcludedfromProvision flag it needs to be False otherwise that result in the databases that is greyed out in Exchange Pro interface.
