Error reading passwords during sync of user

During the migration of user accounts and  sync passwords across - the primary password sync has the folder c:\windows\btpass etc

Executing GetPasswords.bat on servername: btpaexec \\servername -u <username> -accepteula -s C:\WINDOWS\BTPass\GetPasswords.bat C:\WINDOWS\BTPass\<filename>.usr C:\WINDOWS\BTPass\<fielname>.txt C:\WINDOWS\BTPass\BTfdccc002-57e<filename>.log

Getting error in the sync logs: There was an error reading passwords.
And no logs were created.
