NM: "The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable" Error - Use Local System Account on Application Pools -
Description
When I open the browser, and type "http://localhost/CMT_XMLServer, the CMT_XMLServer URL generates Service Unavailable
And Notes Migrator Desktop Engine generates: "The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable"
or
CMT Migration Worker : Unexpected exception during OnStart: The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable.

Cause
This error means the service has not started.
Start the service.
Look in Windows OS Application Event logs.
Log will state the HTTP Web Service was unable to run because the credentials provided does not have the proper rights or the password is incorrect.

Resolution
Edit the App Pool, change credentials (id/password) and restart.
Look in Windows application log and check that the error is not there anymore.
Note: If using a dedicated account does not work, try the “Local System”
