There may be a situation where Notes Migrator for SharePoint fails to work after an installation due to the fact that the necessary solutions that are deployed in SharePoint are in a deploying status but never complete.
The Notes Migrator solutions in SharePoint sometimes may get hung and never fully deploy. This can be due to the fact that the Timer service in SharePoint is hung, This can be tested by stopping the Timer service itself. Often you may receive a Visual Studio error when the service stops.
In order to resolve this issue, please do the following:
1. Stop the timer service on the SharePoint server making sure that it is fully stopped. Then restart it.
2. Navigate to Central Admin, and go to Monitoring - Timer Jobs - Check Job Status. Make sure that the timer jobs for the quest.nmsp.frontend.wsp and the quest.nmsp.admin.wsp are removed.
3. Navigate back to Central Admin and go to System Settings - Farm Management - Manage Farm Solutions. You should see the two solutions called quest.nmsp.frontend.wsp and quest.nmsp.admin.wsp. At this point they should be in the Not Deployed status. Click both solutions and select "Deploy Solution" for both of them.
Once this is complete and the solutions are in a "Deployed" status then everything should be fully functional.
