After migrating an email with embedded images, the migrated email contains DIB attachments, such as "DIB0001.dat", "DIB0002.dat","DIB0003.dat", etc.
This is the native behavior of Outlook when embedding images in Rich Text emails.
MNE version 4.16.1.380 and later provide an option to convert Notes RTF to HTML which will resolve this issue:
