RESOLUTION:
Try following tests to check Calendar entries from Notes
1. A non-Corrupt Calendar entry can be exported to a calendar file (.ics), imported to another user's calendar
and migrated correctly. This entry can also be copied and pasted to other user's calendar without problem.
2. For a Corrupt Calendar entry:
- When these entry is exported to .ics file, Notes fails to import these ics file to other user's calendar, and shows
the error message "Your file is not supported"
- When copy/paste these entry to other user's calendar, the entry created is corrupt
and is not displayed or migrated correctly by MNE
3. To confirm if the entry is corrupt, run File > Export... to export
these entries to Calendar File (.ics) format, and then run File > Import... to import the ics file
to another user's calendar.
Valid calendar entries will be imported and migrated correctly, while the corrupted ones will fail
with error message "Notes cannot import your file at this time. Your file is not supported" from IBM Notes.
You can also try the following to confirm that the non-corrupted version
of these same entries are migrated correctly.
- From IBM Notes, open the file *.nsf.
- Right-click the entry that fails to migrate correctly, and select Copy Into New > Calendar Entry to create
a new calendar entry, rename the entry Subject to "Copy of ...." and click "Save and Close"
- You might notice the following as well:
Select the entry and confirm that clicking "View Dates" displays the dates correctly
for the "Copy of ..." but no date are shown for the original entries..."
- Using import/export or copy & paste the new "Copy of ..." entry to another user's calendar.
The new "Copy of ..." version of the original entry is not corrupt and can be migrated correctly.
