For large Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MNE) migrations, it may be necessary to migrate users with just the primary SMTP (Internet) address rather than including the aliases available from the Notes Global Domain Doc and the username fields in the Domino Person records.
For certain users, some of these aliases may still be required for business continuity reasons.
It's possible to migrate users with only their primary SMTP Internet Address by using the GenerateAliases=0 parameter (see the NME Parameters Reference Guide for more information).
NOTE: Specific email domains discovered from the Domino Global Domain Document can be disabled under the MNE "Find Domains" window.
It's also possible to add custom aliases by exporting the User Collection to TSV and then edit/populate the "TargetAlias" column using a % sign as a separator between each address.
If the Directory Export was completed with GenerateAliases=0 but subsequently a subset of email aliases are required, then perform another installation of MNE with new local SQL instance and perform a Directory Export with the default settings. You can then export a collection to TSV and record any aliases that may be required for a given user.
