When running the Locate Notes Datastores process, this error may be seen in the log file.
This error indicates that the mailfile could not be found in the location which the Domino says it is located.
If the mailfiles have been moved since the original "Export Notes Directory" was done, run Locate Notes Datastores again and point to a file path instead as seen in the pictures below.
