Disable antivirus software to avoid its interaction with MNE during the migration process (4318611)

Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MNE) or Lotus Notes crashes during a migration.  

Documentation states "Any antivirus software must be turned off prior to running the Quest admin applications, but may be restored after the program runs."

Is there a workaround for this?

If the antivirus software can not be disabled.  The following exclusions can be added to ensure the tool is allowed to perform the necessary actions

Exclude the following folders and applications from being scanned by the antivirus software.

%program files%\Quest Software\Quest Notes Migrator for Exchange\
%temp%
migapp.exe
__migapp.exe
migappworker.exe
migappwiz.exe

NOTE: The Lotus Notes folder may also need to be included to prevent the application from having interactions with the antivirus software.
