MessageStats
When gathering from the Exchange Server(s), the following error may appearing the MessageStats Console and MessageStats<date>.log if doing an Interactive gathering or in the MessageStatsService<date>.log file if doing an Automated gathering:

Resolution
Reinstalling MSDE 2000 should resolve this issue.
