Cause
The issue is being caused by Windows User Account Control (UAC). UAC protects the files in the C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) folders. Since Notes keeps its notes.ini file under the Program Files (x86) folder, it is protected. This is why the notes.ini file looks like a file from a clean install.

Resolution
Follow the steps mentioned below:1. Right-click on the "Lotus Notes 7" shortcut on the desktop and select Properties.2. Select the Compatibility tab.3. Select the "Run this program as an administrator" option.4. Run Notes and configure it to connect to the server.This will allow MessageStats to connect to the Domino domain.
