When Running Windows Mobile Devices gathering from a secondary task execution server the following error is encountered in the logs:
"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail."
OR
"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

This has been identified as an issue when the Task Execution Server components are installed without the MMC Console components on a Task Execution Server.
WorkAround:
Reinstall MessageStats and the Windows Mobile report pack, including both the MMC Console, and Task Execution server components.
