Description

When Exporting a large Report to Excel format the following error may be presented:

Error
Too many rows. The Excel file format supports a maximum of 65535 rows in each table in the report.
(0x80004005)
Cause

The XLS file format is limited to 65535 rows. MessageStats is not able to export more that 65535 to this file format.
Resolution

Workaround: Please export the report to CSV format. The CSV format does not have the 65535 limitation on rows. Once exported to CSV format you can open it with Excel and save it in the update XLSX format.
