How to integrate LiteSpeed with Symantec NetBackup? (4333467)

There is no direct integration with LiteSpeed for SQL Server and NetBackup.

WORKAROUND:
Use LiteSpeed to back up to disk and then use NBU to sweep the backups to tape. If you are using LiteSpeed 7.5 with Fast Compression and SmartCleanup, there is an Archives Bit option with SmartCleanup that leaves backups on disk until they are backed up to tape (the archive bit flag is turned off by the enterprise backup product). But NBU will simply treat the LiteSpeed backups as normal files and back them up.
