Description
Failed backups are not reporting a status to the Litespeed Activity table in both Local and Central repository.
Fast compression template job does not record failed backups to Litespeed activity.

Cause
Using a backup template to deploy a fast compression job,When the jobs runs if a database is encountered,that is in a restoring state the job will fail which is expected since the database in restoring mode can’t be backed up.This failure can be seen in the SQL agent job history and in the Litespeed job manager.But the Litespeed Activity page will only show the successful backups not the failed one giving the false impression that the job ran successful.There is no indication of what caused the failure on the LiteSpeed activity page. -
Resolution
LS-1220 -Fast compression template job does not record failed backups to Litespeed activity.LS-1218 - Multidatabase xp_slsFastCompression returns message for the last database only.
Both issues are resolved in Litespeed version 8.7.1 -
