Description
Whenrunning Litespeed Logshipping configurationwizards, anerror : profile name is not valid is encountered when it is adding the publisher.
When running the logshipping configuration script manually in the SQL Server Management Studio / query analyzer, additional detail of the error is found: Error:Procedure sysmail_verify_profile_sp, Line 42 - profile name is not valid.

Cause
An environment issue related to Microsoft SQL Server Database Mail system. The DatabaseMail system is referring toa profile which had been deleted. Litespeed logshipping does not use the Database Mail directly. Litespeed uses the Alert system in SQL Server for sending out alerts.

Resolution
RESOLUTION:
1.Use SQL Profiler to identifyprofile name which the Microsoft SQL Server Database Mail expects.
2. Recreate the expected name as a profile name in Microsoft SQL ServerDatabase Mail.
3. Run the Litespeed Logshipping wizard tocomplete the logshippingconfiguration.
4. Contact Microsoft for further assistance if the Litespeed Logshipping wizard continues to prompt this error.
