Error: "Unable to determine if backup file exists" during log shipping -
Description
When the LiteSpeed Log Shipping copy job starts at the publisher, the backup file is not copied, and displays the error 'unable to determine if backup file exists'.
The account executing the LiteSpeed Log Shipping job has system admins right from SQLServer agent, SQLServer, and all shared folders granted with full control.

Cause
Within (SLS_LogShipping_Copy_File.sql) , the parameter @@LANGID is only valid for "English" (0) or "Japanese" (3).

Resolution
Update the login properties on SQLService to English:
1. Open SQL Enterprise Manager.
2. Select security folder.
3. Select user | right click | select properties.
a. Change default language to English.
