The installation would roll back after installation is complete and with error message below:
The wizard was interrupted before LiteSpeed@ for SQL Server could be completely installed.
Try running through msiexec to create log file:
It would received the following error:
Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location existed and is writable.
Then double check the log file location is existed and writable and even grant full permission to 'Everyone' but error persists
Old or corrupt windows installer
1. Type echo %TMP% at the command prompt and verify that you can write to the location shown and that there is no installer log file already there. (delete it if it is).
2. Upgrade windows installer to latest version 4.0
