This section describes the issue addressed by this patch. This hotfix/patch should only be applied if you are experiencing the following situation:
This patch should be applied to any NetVault: Backup version 14.0.0.19 or 14.0.1.7 (See Important Note for details) to add a fix for RDA related performance issues when using secure connect across backup, CDP and Data Copy / Duplicate workflows.
IMPORTANT NOTE: 14.0.0.19 release must be upgraded to 14.0.1.7 before applying this patch.

Installation Instructions
=========================
Installing the Support Pack (rda-14-0-1-2-LinuxX86Pure64.npk or rda-14-0-1-2-WindowsPure64.npk)
1. Log in to the NetVault Server: Access the NetVault console on the machine where you want to install the plugin.
2. Navigate to Manage Clients: In the Navigation pane, click on "Manage Clients".
3. Select the Client: In the NetVault Backup Clients list, select the client you want to install the plugin on and click the "Manage" button.
4. Install the Plugin: On the Manage Clients page, click the "Install Plugin" button (<<+>>) located in the lower-right corner of the Installed Plug-ins table.
5. Choose the Plugin File: Click the "Choose Plug-in File" option and navigate to the location of the plugin's ".npk" installation file.
6. Navigate to the location of the Template file software (i.e., the “rda-14-0-1-2-LinuxX86Pure64.npk" for Linux Clients or "rda-14-0-1-2-WindowsPure64.npk” for Windows Clients file). Select the file and click on Open to begin the installation process.
6. Start Installation: Select the correct ".npk" file for your platform and click "Next" or "Install Plugin" to begin the installation.
7. Confirm Installation: A message will appear once the plugin is successfully installed.
8. If this is applied to the NetVault: Backup Server with any existing RDA connections a restart of the NetVault Services is required.

To Determining if This Hotfix/Patch Is Installed:
1. Open: the NetVault Backup Console.
2. Navigate: to the Manage Clients page.
3. Select: the desired client from the table and click Manage.
4. Navigate: to the client's view to see the list of installed plugins.
5. Look for the "Quest RDA Library Installer 14.0.1.2" description to verify installation.

To remove this hotfix/patch:
1. Log in to the NetVault Server: Access the NetVault console on the machine where you want to install the plugin.
2. Navigate to Manage Clients: In the Navigation pane, click on "Manage Clients".
3. Select the Client: In the NetVault Backup Clients list, select the client you want to remove the plugin on and click the "Manage" button.
4. Click on the Instlled Software: "Quest RDA Library Installer Version" Version: "14.0.1.2".
5. Remove the Plugin: On the Manage Clients page, click the "Install Plugin" button (<<->>) located in the lower-right corner of the Installed Plug-ins table.
