Toad for Oracle version 2025 R2 subscription release has introduced integration with GitHub Copilot.
An AI-powered code generation assistant - AI Code Preview that lives directly inside Toad’s SQL Editor window. Using the power of GitHub Copilot, Toad's Editor becomes an AI Editor where AI Code takes natural language prompts from the user and turns them into fully functional SQL and PLSQL code.This feature is currently only available for users with AI Enabled Subscription license. Verify your Toad license and version from Help | About window:
- The product name should state Subscription and AI Enabled. For example: "Toad for Oracle Base AI Enabled Subscription".
- The version number must be v2022.2 or higher.
