'Error 0x80070666: Cannot install a product when a newer version is installed' when installing Toad for SQL Server 8.0
Description

When installing Toad for SQL Server 8.0.0.65, there is a message saying that "Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable package" must be installed. The installation of the package fails because according to the installation log, a newer version is already installed. The following error shows: 'Error 0x80070666: Cannot install a product when a newer version is installed.'
Resolution

Please check in the Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a Program option, and check which Visual C++ Redistributable Packages are installed. Please uninstall older versions of Visual C++ Redistributable Packages and then try the installation again.
