Windows Authentication option is missing from Repository Administrator Account pulldown in FMS installer -
Description
When installing Foglight to use a SQL Server backend repository database, the option to choose "Windows Authentication" for the Repository Administrator Account database connection is not available.

Resolution
WORKAROUND 1
Use SQL Server authentication for the administrator account.
WORKAROUND 2
Choose the option to "Manually create the repository database", click "Generate" to create the scripts, and then have the SQL Server administrator manually run the scripts directly against the SQL Server instance.
STATUS
This issue has been logged as defect FOG-2836 and has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release of Foglight and Foglight for Databases installers. -
