Is it possible to force the Federator Foglight management server to reload new topology settings without a restart of the server ?

Resolution
Yes, if you edit the Federator's %FGLHOME%\config\federation.config and save the file. That will trigger a topology synchronization, which in turn should update any new topology types added since the last restart of the server.
