Description
When doing a restore, the following error is displayed: The log in this backup set cannot be applied because it is on a recovery path inconsistent with the database
Cause
Recovery Path inconsistent.
Resolution
This is not a LiteSpeed Error.
The error message is directly reported by SQL Server. The backup and restore sequence has to be matched for differential and transaction log restores.
