Description
Recovery Manager for Exchange cannot emulate Exchange 5.5 Server when installed on a computer running Windows Server 2003. This is because the Exchange 5.5 Administrator program needs to be installed, but Exchange 5.5 Administrator cannot be installed on a computer running Windows Server 2003. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
To have Recovery Manager for Exchange emulate Exchange 5.5, install Recovery Manager for Exchange and Exchange 5.5 Administrator on a computer running Windows 2000.
STATUS
CR0133359 has been logged to have this limitation noted in the Recovery Manager for Exchange documentation. -
