Resolution
Recovery Manager does not support restoring from Veritas Backup Exec 10.0 backups using the Exchange emulation feature with Veritas Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers 10.0. To be able to restore from Veritas Backup Exec 10.0 backups using the Exchange emulation feature, use Veritas Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers from Veritas Backup Exec 9.0 or 9.1.

Restore data from such backups using direct access to backup media.
When registering a restore source, on the Source Database Option page of the New Source Wizard select "Directly access backup media" (if you want to restore from a full, incremental, or differential backup), or "Offline EDB file" (if you want to restore from a snapshot backup).
