Error, "Unable to copy the configuration file for the new task" -
Description
When running a Notes Migrator for Exchange operation, the following error dialog box may be generated:
Unable to copy the configuration file for the new task. File: 'C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\config-2208.ini' 2641-123-15-00000000

Cause
This is caused by the NME "Bulk import directory" being out of space or not having the necessary permissions. -
Resolution
The following procedure will help investigate the issue:
- Open the NME Migration Manager.
- Click on the SQL Server settings screen on the left pane.
- Identify the directory that was selected as the "Bulk import directory".
- Navigate to this directory using Windows Explorer.
- Verify that the directory still exists.
- Verify that the disk that it resides on is not out of space.
- Verify that you are able to create a file in this directory.
