Description
End-user is getting "Failed to initialize the conversion: m_archSrc:Init()"

Cause
This issue is caused if the SSDM application can not find the Notes.ini file for that installation. Typically the Notes.ini is located in the C:\Program File\Lotus\Notes directory but if you have a Multi User install then the Notes.ini files are stored in each user's Windows profile.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
Point to the location of the notes.ini path explicitly in the notesdtapp.ini file.
Do so by adding the following to the [Notes] section:
[Notes]
notesinipath=An example of this entry would be:
[Notes]
notesinipath=H:\Notes\notes.ini [make sure that this user account can reach that mapped drive if you are using mapped drives. Typically you would use a local drive for this]
