CMN Multi-part alternative including conversion and encapsulation (4345985)

There are some large environments that may have more than one Domino server. To get CMN ActiveMail work properly, Configuration | Server | Configurations | MIME | Conversion Option | Outbound | Message Content field needs to be set to Create multi-part alternative including conversation and encapsulation.

Which Domino server needs that option set to create multi-part alternative including conversation and encapsulation?

Typically you do not need to set that option on the Domino server that has mailboxes. In most environments, only the Domino server delivering mail to CMN should be set, which is typically also the Domino server hosting the CMN QCalCon Domino task for free busy.

Please note, the last server that connects to CMN needs to be running the Domino SMTP Mail Routing task.

If the SMTP task has just been enabled, the server will may need to be rebooted.
