After migrating a user to Exchange 2010 or later with NME, their primary SMTP address in Exchange may be changed to <Alias>@<domain>.com.
When migrating to Exchange 2010 or later, NME automatically enables the "Automatically update e-mail addresses based on e-mailaddress policy." setting on the user's mailbox in Exchange. The default Exchange recipient address policy would change the user's primary SMTP address to <alias>@<domain>.com.
NME can be configured to disable this default behavior and leave the primary SMTP address migrated from Notes intact by configuring the following options:
1. Open the NME Migration Console.
2. Click the Edit menu.
3. Select Global Default Settings.
4. Find the [Exchange] heading.
5. Under the [Exchange] heading add a new line:
EmailAddressPolicyEnabled=0
6. Find the [ActiveDirectory] heading.
7. Under the [ActiveDirectory] heading add a new line:
SetRecipPolicy=0
8. Close and Save the "notesmigmgr-edit.ini" text file.
9. Close the NME Migration Console.
10. Open the NME Migration Console.
